About Us

Welcome to Omanda Desert & Wildlife Tours website!

Our tour operating company works exclusively with professional guides and specialises in the remote lands of Namibia. We encourage you to discover the astonishing diversity of Namibia in small groups aboard accommodated 4X4 vehicles.

To fulfil our commitment to get closer to nature, we place at your disposal our knowledge of the fauna and flora found across the various regions. Specializing in the north-western lands of Namibia, we will travel off the beaten track to visit these regions. We will search for black rhinoceros and desert elephants in their free ranging environment. We will introduce you to the Himbas, a semi-nomadic tribe that is one of the last Southern African ethnic groups still practicing its ancestral traditions. Finally, we will observe the fauna in the wilderness reserves found in the north-eastern region of the Kaudom, along the Okavango and near the Kwando River in the Zambezi Region, where massive herds of elephants gather during the dry season. Thanks to the opening of the border post of Mata-Mata, we are now able to invite you to discover the red dunes of the Kalahari and the fauna of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

Always giving the highest respect to the local population, the fauna and the fragile environment we encounter along the way, we invite you to live within the rhythm of nature so that you can fully grasp the vastness of Namibia' landscapes. You will be able to sleep under the stars in spacious tents, with evening barbecues served for dinner, or, in accordance with individual budgets, in exclusive lodges of the highest comfort.

From the ochre dunes of the Namib Desert to Etosha National Park's wildlife and the chaotic landscapes of the Damaraland and Kaokoland, our tours of Namibia offer you a unique experience off the beaten track.
